A spectacular annual Yakut beauty and talent "Kere Kuo 2017" contest among girls of Krasnoyarsk took place on 9 April, 2017.
The student of the 2nd course of  "Pedagogical education" profile "Tutor" of IEPS SibFU Rosalia Ustinova became the winner of two nominations: "Naryana Kuo" (Miss Talent) and "Aitaly Kuo" (1 Vice-Miss). The competition was attended by 7 girls from different universities.The jury awarded the girls with the scores at the end of each 5 passages:introduction, talent, common dance, avantgarde contest on the topic "Phoenix Bird" and passage in evening dresses. For the introduction contestants came out in their national costumes and spoke about their native ulus (neighbourghood), on  talent stage there was dancing, singing, reading of the epic tales in the Yakut language and playing modern music on the khomus . 
We congratulate  Rosalia and  wish her further victories!

On 23 March 2017 in SibFU the first day of the course under the Presidential program of civil identity formation of "I am Russian" was held.
The event was organized by the Faculty of teachers' training of Siberian Federal University and the Institute of Education, Psychology and Sociology. 
SibFU professors, school teachers,  college teachers  of the Krasnoyarsk region, professional educators, undergraduates and graduate students in mini lectures and workshops were introduced to the interactive methods of the civil identity formation .
The trainers were the experts of the Center of tolerance,  Moscow:
Svetlana Orlenko and Alexander Savushkin, Candidate of Law Sciences, the Head of the educational projects . 
On the second final day of the training courses there will be a protection of methodological developments and 
the issuance of certificates to the participants who successfully trained under the program.

 14-16 February 2017 at the Moscow State Pedagogical Universityan international conference «ALLMEET IN RUSSIA: EDUCATION AND TOLERANCE FOR MULTICULTURAL SOCIETY" was held. The results of the international Tempus project  «Actions of Lifelong Learning addressing Multicultural Education and Tolerance in Russia (ALLMEET)» were discussed at the conference. The goal of the project is improving inter-ethnic cooperation, relations between society and migrants, the reduction of tension and conflict in the Russian regions taking part in the project (Moscow, Tatarstan, Mari El Republic, Arkhangelsk oblast, Krasnoyarsk Krai).

 Director of TEMPUS / ERASMUS + in Russia Dr. of Education, Prof.O.N.Oleynikov made the welcoming speech. Among the invited key note speakers there were Chief researcher of the Institute for Childhood, Family and Education of RAE Dr. of Education, Prof. M.I.Rozhkov,  General Education Center School Director of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work of Queens University (UK) Joanne Hughes and others.

 The project team of the Siberian Federal University headed by Dr. of Education, Prof., Academician of RAO O.G. Smolyaninova took an active part in the conference. At the plenary session of the first day of the conference O.G. Smolyaninova and  D.O. Trufanov,  Head. of Sociology Chair, SibFU made a presentation reporting the results of studies carried out on the basis of the Siberian Federal University "The practice of tolerance in a multicultural environment of the Krasnoyarsk Territory: intercultural educational platform of SibFU".

 Among the  significant events of the second day of the international conference there were the workshops delivered by the participants of the ALLMEET project. Siberian Federal University and Kazan (Volga) Federal University designed and implemented a master class in "Multicultural art gallery." Catherine Bezizvestnikh, SibFU post-graduate student, assistant teacher of IT in Education and Lifelong Learning Chair, SibFU presented an interactive class. The participants’ results of the master class are published on the websites of Moscow City University, SibFU, in the social networks Instagram and VKontakte.

 The final event of the conference was the visit to the Centre of Tolerance and Museum of Tolerance, participation in the interactive experiment disclosing the  technology intercultural competence formation  in a multicultural educational environment.

A collective monograph "The theory and practice of multicultural education: outcomes of the project ALLMEET TEMPUS program" was published in January 2017. Publication of the monograph was funded by Tempus IV project. Siberian Federal University acted as the publisher of the monograph, SibFU team collected and edited all the materials and worked out the design. The authors of the monograph were 18 representatives of the consortium from the nine partner universities. Editors of the monograph are O.G. Smolyaninova, Dr. of Education, Prof., Academician of RAO, Director of the Institute of Education, Psychology and Sociology, Siberian Federal University, and T.M. Tregubova, Dr. of Education, Prof., leading researcher  at the Institute of Education, Psychology, and Social Problems."

The book reveals multidimensional nature of multicultural education, highlights the trend of its development in the conditions of realization of the state national policy and inter-ethnic dialogue strategies. The experience of the development of tolerance and multicultural competence on the basis of cross-cultural educational platforms worked out within the project TEMPUS ALLMEET in the six cities in five regions of Russia (Arkhangelsk Region, the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republic of Mari El, Tatarstan, Moscow), culture of which is of a diverse character. The monograph presents the work of the  multinational team, theoretical and practical study, describes a model, principles and methodological bases of multicultural education and the experience of the European partners in the formation of tolerance. Research and practical developments presented in the book were supported by the international project TEMPUS ALLMEET № 544480-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-IT-TEMPUS-YPHES «Actions of Lifelong Learning addressing Multicultural Education and Tolerance in Russia (ALLMEET)».

The book is addressed to teachers, students of pedagogical universities, experts in the field of national and youth policy, departments for education and culture, researchers in the field of intercultural communication, ethnopedagogics, as well as graduate students and undergraduates who are dedicated to intercultural education.

At the final international conference «WE ALLMEET IN RUSSIA: EDUCATION AND TOLERANCE FOR THE MULTICULTURAL SOCIETY» held at the Moscow State Pedagogical University 14-16 February 2017 SibFU project team presented publications. During the period of project implementation ALLMEET SibFU team published more than 1300 pages of materials devoted to the project including more than 20 articles in Russian and foreign scientific journals, 3 of the articles are indexed by the Higher Attestation Commition. Six of the articles are cited in the international databases such as Scopus and Web of Science. Among the publications there are also a textbook and a tutorial.

On January 25, 2017 TEMPUS project manager of Siberian Federal University, doctor of Education, professor, Academician of RAE Olga Smolyaninova performed as the visit –professor with a public lecture at the Heinrich Heine University (Düsseldorf, Germany). Interactive lecture was devoted to migration processes and migration policy in Russia. Among listeners were professors, scientists, students, expatriates and all the other interested participants.  During the lecture, there was an interesting and productive discussion. There were new contacts established to continue effective scientific and educational activities in the frameworks of the implementation of the projects and other educational activities on the territory of Krasnoyarsk Region.

The upcoming event will be the International Summer School on “Multicultural Mediation”. The Summer school will take place at SibFU summer camp "Polytekhnyk» in July 2017.

2 December 2016 a meeting of the working group took place for approving the 2017 action plan of the state program of the Krasnoyarsk region “Strengthening the unity of the Russian nation and ethno-cultural development of the peoples of the Krasnoyarsk region").

1 December 2016 at the IX All-Russian scientific and practical conference "Civil Education in the Information Age: parenting practices" took place public and professional expertise of SibFU electronic Polycultural Lifelong Educational Platform, developed within the framework of TEMPUS «ALLMEET» project.

X Interational Contest of Beauty and Talent “Asia-Siberia 2016” took place in the Congress Hall of SibFU 6 November 2016. The most beautiful girls from different cities of Russia, representatives of different nationalities from Buryatia, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Tyva, Khakassia, Uzbekistan, Sakha (Yakutia) took part in the contest.

17October 2016  Head of the Siberian Federal University team of  ALLMEET TEMPUS project, Director of  IEPS SibFU Olga Smolyaninova,  Ekaterina Bezyzvestnykh,  postgraduate IEPS student and assistant, IT in Education and LLL Chair, Yulia  Popova, master’s program student, IEPS SibFU participated in the international seminar on "University and civil society in a multicultural context: research, innovation and best practices in Europe and Russia. Discussion of the TEMPUS ALLMEET project ». The seminar was held at the Bologna University (Italy), the coordinator of the project.
