Educational forum "The city as an educational resource" took place 24-28 March in Krasnoyarsk.

A roundtable "Specific features of adaptation of migrant students in a multicultural environment of secondary school” took place in Krasnoyarsk  school № 151. There were issues related to improving the effectiveness of the educational environment and introducing modern technologies in training in a multicultural environment of a secondary school. Vladimir A. Petrishchev, Doctor of Education, Professor, Head of Foreign Languages Department,  V.P. Astafyev’s KSPU headed the round table. The discussion was attended by the heads and deputy heads of educational institutions of Krasnoyarsk from five schools of Krasnoyarsk.

26 March a discussion forum "Formation of networking educational institutions engaged in the educational process in a multi-ethnic environment" was held within the City Forum.

15 Krasnoyarsk schools took part in this work. It was noted that some schools already have experience in teaching migrants and their children the Russian language (secondary school №16). Many schools cooperate for events such as festival of national cultures, etc.

There was a suggestion addressed to the department of education of Krasnoyarsk region to support such initiatives, work out the necessary procedures when the number of migrant pupls studying at schools exceeds 10%. 

Real school practice implies inclusion of pupils having special educational needs.
