From 15 to 30 April 2015 at the Siberian Federal University was hosted the international conference "Youth and science-2015: Prospect Svobodniy". It brought together about 4,000 students, postgraduates and young scientists from Russian and foreign universities. 

Section of Humanitarian field “Multicultural educational space: the integration of regional and international experience (international project TEMPUS ALLMEET)" was held at the Institute of pedagogy, psychology and sociology on April 21, in the framework of the Institute’s Days

    

 

The speakers presented 17 papers on topics of tolerance, interethnic communication, lifelong learning, multicultural education. The process of modernization of the educational process in terms of creating e-learning resources, automation of methods of studying tolerance, project activities aimed at laying the foundations of civic identity – the circle of subjects of presentations was broad and relevant to the section of the conference. 

Team members of SibFU working on the project TEMPUS ALLMEET, presented their papers on the results of research work on the project and also acted as the academic supervisor of students, developing appropriate direction in their research. The chief of the section was Director of Institute of pedagogy, psychology and sociology Olga Smolyaninova, the secretary of the section was appointed Yulia Popova, the jury was also attended by members of the project team – Vera Korshunova, Marina Rostovtseva, Alexander Mashanov. The presentations were made by Iana Daineko, Valery Pomazan. Students-bachelors and masters performed under the supervision of O. Smolyaninova , D. Trufanov , V. Pomazan, A.  Mashanov.  Student Anna Orlova under supervision of senior lecturer at the Department of Social technologies Valeriy Pomazan, took 2nd place, presenting a report on the peculiarities of creating a multicultural educational web platform in the framework of the TEMPUS ALLMEET project.
