19 -   25 April the participants of the SibFU TEMPUS ALLMEET («Actions of Lifelong Learning addressing Multicultural Education and Tolerance in Russia»)  project group  studied the experience of their colleagues from the University of Bologna. Head of the SibFU project team prof. Dr. Olga G. Smolyaninova , Yana M. Dayneko, Head of Professional Development and Retraining Center, Institute of Education, Psychology and Sociology, Siberian Federal University and  Elena M. Nazarenko, Senior teacher, IT in Education and Lifelong Learning Chair, Institute of Education, Psychology and Sociology, Siberian Federal University took part in this work.

      

As part of the experience exchange the Russian participants of the project visited the municipal intercultural and social centers in the cities of Bologna, Modena, Florence, Arezzo and Novellara. The trip included visits to Orthodox churche, mosques, Sikh and Hindu temples and meeting with leaders of religious denominations and ethnic communities, as well as meetings with representatives from municipalities, heads of centers working with migrants and dealing with cultural mediation, and the centers of continuing education for teachers .

20 April  2015 the University of Bologna (UNIBO) the IEPS SibFU TEMPUS ALLMEET project team delegation presented a study on multicultural interaction and developing tolerance in Krasnoyarsk Region at the international conference «Culture, Language and Religion in Russia and Europe: Key Aspects in Education for Tolerance ".

Olga G. Smolyaninova presented  report «Krasnoyarsk Region as a Multicultural Society: The Development of Ethnic and Religious Tolerance» at the conference. The report was devoted to the interim results of the research project in Krasnoyarsk city and Krasnoyarsk Region and the prospects for further development of ethnic and religious tolerance in a multicultural region.
